Susan Salmon
Master in Pedagogy of the National and International Languages
Second Language Acquisition
During this course, I was able to work on language structure and communication, language acquisition and development, and language fluency. I acquired the tools and expertise to keep current with new instructional techniques, research results, and advances in the English teaching field for professional development.
In groups, we presented a Strategic Plan looking for ways to meet the standards set by CES, which states that students, upon completing 60% of their academic program, should have a level of B1 of English in order to continue studying.
Similarly, at the end of the course, I wrote an essay articulating and justifying a proper teaching-learning philosophy of English to demonstrate my understanding of current theories and research.
